Welcome to the Sheddingdean Primary School website.

Our school was built in 1987 on the northern outskirts of Burgess Hill, a semi-rural part of mid-Sussex. It was originally intended as an infant school, but because of its popularity and growing numbers, it became an all through primary school in 1993. We are still a relatively small school with under 200 pupils on roll.

We hope you enjoy looking through this website and that you gain a flavour of the special atmosphere of our school which is at the heart of the Sheddingdean Community.

Quote from Ofsted 2008: "As one parent commented,

'My children are privileged to attend such a warm, caring and friendly environment."

There is an exciting new interactive school website ('moodle') that we are just starting to work on. For those of you with a password, click here  - It will be available to all soon!
